CAT-4620AC-22060 | The California Air Tools 4620AC-22060 ultra quiet, oil-free air compressor is designed to be one of the quietest air compressors in the industry producing just 70 decibels of sound. The powerful 2 hp SP Series motor operates at only 1,680 rpm creating less noise and less wear. The oil-free, dual piston pump system is engineered and tested for a life cycle of 3,000+ hours compared to other brands with life cycles of only 500 hours or less. The 4.6 gallon aluminum twin air tanks are lightweight (64 lbs) and rust resistant, making it very easy to transport and maintain. This air compressor is ideal for anyone working inside where noise is a major issue.

Before using the air compressor for the first time, complete a test run as follows:

  1. Turn the power switch to the OFF position. Plug the power supply cord into a power supply socket. Start the air compressor by turning the power switch to the ON position. The pressure gauge reading will slowly rise as pressure increases inside the air tank. When the gauge reading reaches 115-120 PSI, the pressure switch will automatically turn the power off. This indicates the compressor is working normally.
  2. Turn the power switch to the OFF position, unplug the power supply cord and release the air in the tank by pulling on the safety valve. At this point proceed to the next step (daily operation) starting the air compressor to continue to use.
Note: If the Air Compressor is not working properly, the pressure gauge will indicate that there is a decrease in pressure in the air tank. If there is an air leak from the compressor the pressure in the tank decreases, the pressure switch resets, and the motor automatically turns back on.

If you detect an air leakage, turn the power switch to the OFF position and release air from the tank by pulling on the safety valve. Unplug the power supply cord and contact California Air Tools Customer Service at (866) 409-4581.

Starting the compressor:

  1. Turn the power switch to the OFF position
  2. Attach the air hose to the 1/4" air hose connection
  3. Close the drainage valve
  4. Lift up and turn the regulator knob completely to the left. This will turn down the pressure at the air hose before starting
  5. Plug the power supply cord into a power supply socket
  6. Turn the power switch to the ON position
  7. Let the motor run and tank fill until motor turns off
  8. Turn the regulator knob to the right increasing the pressure at the hose. Turn the pressure up until the desired pressure at the air hose is reached
  9. Operate air tool normally
  10. Only operate continuously for 1 hour maximum. Allow compressor to cool down before restarting

Shutting down the compressor:

  1. Turn the power switch to the OFF position
  2. Unplug the power supply cord
  3. Reduce the pressure in the air tank through the air supply hose

What Our Customers Are Saying

The CCI people were very professional in handling their customers. They would cater all your needs. They were very approachable, especially Matt. And the safety gear they sent was very durable and really fits to my size. I was able to request to replace the item due to wrong ordering, and they replace it right away. I will not think twice of doing business with them in the future.  - Steven
